Three youths charged with Appleby Village incident


On Saturday April 11 at 11 p.m., Halton Regional Police responded to youths fighting at 5111 New Street at Appleby Line and New Street in Burlington.

Three male youths jumped a male youth and stole his 13" Macbook Air Laptop, watch and cell phone before fleeing the area. The victim sustained only minor injuries. The three youths were later arrested on Longmoor Road near Chamberland Road.

The youths had the victim's watch and cell phone, which were recovered by police. However, the laptop valued at $1,500 is still missing. The three young offenders, who cannot be named, were charged with robbery and possession of property obtained by Crime.
