Halton Outdoor Club Spring Info Fair April 10
Interested in enjoying the great outdoors near Appleby Line but don’t know how to start?
Maybe the Halton Outdoor Club is for you. The club is having its Spring Info Fair event on Friday April 10, 7-9: p.m. at the Laurie Branch Auditorium, Mainway Arena, 4015 Mainway, Burlington. The arena is on the NE corner of Walkers Line and Mainway, just north of the QEW.
The Halton Outdoor Club is not-for-profit organization run primarily by volunteers. The club offers a variety of activities for all levels and welcomes beginners. The club regularly schedules outdoor group activities, which include:
Hiking
Cycling
Paddling
Cross county skiing
Snow Showing
Day trips
International and local active travel trips
Social events
The club will be presenting its new season of paddling, hiking and cycling. You will find out about new day and extended trips, the latest in clothing and gear, meet new people, sign up for membership or renew your membership. You will also enjoy snacks and refreshments and have a chance to sign-up for paddling lessons and clinics.
