Crime stoppers tip needed for area break-in


Halton Police continue to investigate an Appleby Line area break and enter that occurred last summer.

The offence happened on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 on Sheldon Drive near Sherwood Forest Park in Burlington. The homeowner told police they went to bed at 1 a.m. and woke up at 7 a.m. to find multiple household items including a Grey Lexus stolen. The car was later recovered one street over on Deerhurst Drive crashed into a tree. The homeowner did not hear anything throughout the night.
