Your opinion needed by Feb. 22 for new garden
It’s time to think about Spring. Burlington has three community gardens and would like your help by an online survey to decide where to put the next one. Maybe there could be one near Appleby Line.
“The city is now seeking input about the location of a fourth garden which will be ready for planting in the spring of 2016,” said Rob Peachey, manager of parks and open spaces. “We want to hear from residents about where in the city they’d like to see the newest community garden.”
The short online survey is available at www.burlington.ca/communitygardens and will remain open until Sunday, Feb. 22.
The information collected from the survey will help to inform city staff with their final recommendation to Burlington City Council at a meeting of the Development and Infrastructure Committee in June.
Burlington is one of Canada’s best and most livable cities, a place where people, nature and business thrive.
