Burlington Christmas Parade returns Dec. 7
Don't miss the 49th annual Burlington Christmas Parade in downtown
Burlington on Sunday, Dec. 7 with colourful floats, marching bands and costumed characters.
“The Christmas Parade is a very successful community-based event that attracts thousands of people from Burlington and beyond each year,” said Jessica Wesolowski, supervisor of the city’s festivals and events. “Burlington is fortunate to have such dedicated volunteers, organizations and local businesses who give time, energy and money to help create a wonderful experience for families.”
Santa Claus will cap off the parade, which will feature the Burlington Teen Tour Band and floats prepared by local community groups and businesses. Popular floats and mascots from the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Raptors will participate again this year. New entries this year include Burlington Skating Centre, Halton Field Hockey, and Orange Theory Fitness.

The Burlington Christmas Parade is annual event run by a volunteer committee. The parade starts at the corner of Guelph Line and Prospect Street and makes its way downtown along New Street. The parade travels north on Brant Street and finishes at Caroline Street. Each year, organizers estimate the parade attracts more than 20,000 spectators.
